The
prosecutor never
called John Short,
the lead detective
in this
investigation, to
testify during the
trial.
When can anyone remember a murder case in which the lead detective was not called to the stand?
Why
didn't the
prosecutor call
their key witness,
Dallas Mallory, the
only person that
could confirm that
Chuck was near the
crime scene?
Now,
based entirely on
conflicting
allegations made by
Chuck Erickson, with
no physical evidence
of any kind, and no
corroborating
witness, along with
the reluctance of
the prosecutor to
call Detective Short
(the lead
detective), Ryan
Ferguson has been
found guilty of
second-degree
murder.
Ryan
Ferguson should have
been presumed
innocent until
proven guilty BEYOND
A REASONABLE
doubt.
As
can be seen in his
opening video
statement, Chuck
knew very little
about this crime at
the time of his
arrest except for
what he had read or
heard in the media
